(Photo by Pongpat Wongyala)PATHUM THANI: A 200-metre section of a road alongside Klong Rapipat in tambon Bung Kasam of Nong Sua district has subsided, leaving long, deep cracks and making driving on the road dangerous. Paisal Srithanetkul, chairman of the Bung Kasam tambon administration organisation (TAO), said engineers from the provincial rural road office have examined the subsidence. Ariya Chantha, a TAO member for Moo 6 of tambon Bung Kasam, said the road had previously subsided and been repaired many times. The fact the canal had dried up was partly to blame for the subsidence, buit it was made worse by the many overloaded trucks using the road.
