Photo: BSSKISHOREGANJ, Dec 26, 2025 (BSS) – A newly constructed road in Rashidabad Union of Kishoreganj Sadar has been named ‘Shaheed Osman Hadi Road’ to honour Shaheed Sharif Osman Hadi, the fearless frontline fighter of the July Uprising and spokesperson of the Inqilab Mancha. Speakers recalled Shaheed Osman Hadi’s sacrifice and described him as a symbol of resistance against injustice. The programme ended with a special doa seeking eternal peace for Shaheed Sharif Osman Hadi. Hadi, also an aspiring candidate for Dhaka-8 constituency, was shot on December 12 while he was on a battery-run auto-rickshaw in the capital’s Purana Paltan area.
