PHOTO: BRENDA HARWOODImproving the condition of Coast Rd from Warrington to Seacliff, more public walkways and better water pressure are top of mind for members of the Blueskin Bay Library book-share group. They also want the Waikouaiti Coast Community Board to look into what could be done to cope with the needs of the growing population in the area, and to lobby for improved public transport into town. All felt that the work of the community board was "vital'' to the wellbeing of the local area. "We do have a good board - they listen to the wishes of the people,'' Liz Sumpter said. The Blueskin Bay Library book-share group meets on the fourth Friday of each month, from 2.30pm to 3.30pm, to discuss books and share ideas for good reads.
