Road closed following three-car collisionSimon O'Connor/STUFF The east-bound lane is temporarily closed. A busy New Plymouth road has been reduced to one lane following a three-car collision. Devon St West's east-bound lane was blocked after the crash at the intersection of Cutfield Rd which happened about 9.52am on Wednesday. Senior Constable Grant Kennard said it appeared a west-bound vehicle had been waiting to turn right into Cutfield Rd when it was hit from behind. Police inquiries to establish if the driver who crashed into the rear of the car waiting to turn were ongoing, he said.
