Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko is set for a huge clash with matatu operators after the county government announced PSVs will be bared from accessing the CBD from next Wednesday. We have been engaging the county and all other stakeholders and the talks are still ongoing.â Kimutai said. Some can only accommodate about 100 vehicles against over 2,000 vehicles that use these routes,â he said. Vehicles accessing the CBD from Wayiaki Way, Uhuru Highway, Kipande and Limuru roads will terminate at Murangâa Road stage (Fig Tree-terminus A). Those from Thika Road, including Kiambu and Ruiru will terminate at Muranga Road (Fig Tree-Terminus B).
