Sirajganj locals torched a vehicle and blocked roads, for three hours, in protestThree students have been killed in separate road accidents in Khulna, Sirajganj, and Narsingdi. In Sirajganj, a covered van ran over Hridoy, 17, on Nalka-Shialkhol local road in Bhadraghat upazila, around 7:30am. Immediately after the accident, enraged locals torched the covered van, and blocked the Nalka-Shialkhol road for three hours. On Tuesday, a university student was killed in a road accident, in Dhaka's Kuril area, sparking a mass student protest. Students blocked several roads and boycotted classes, demanding safe roads and justice for the killed student's death.
