The body was sent to Natore Sadar Hospital for autopsy, he added. Officer-in-charge (Investigation) Nazrul Islam Jewel of Natore Sadar police station said a speeding truck ran over Ali Hossain started for home after his duty. The deceased was identified as Ali Hossain, 50, son of Mohammad Hossain of Bezpara-Amhatty village of Sadar upazila. Locals rushed him to Sadar hospital where the doctor declared him dead. After the incident, locals chased the truck and handed over the driver, Mahindra Sarker, son of late Parimahan Sarker of Gazipur, to the police.
