High Court has granted six months bail to BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed in five cases filed in connection with murder and ubversive activities. The High Court bench of Justice Md Habibul Gani and Justice Md Akram Hossain Chowdhury passed the order on Wednesday. The cases were filed one each with Ramna, Motijheel, Khilgaon police stations and two with Pallabi police stations. However, Rivzi now staying in Kahimpur Jail, can’t be released from the jail as he is accused in another case filed with Ramna police station. Of the cases, two were filed on charges of killing and three filed over vandalism and arson attacks.
