Residents on one of Hamilton's swankiest streets have been forced to evacuate their home after a slip left a gaping hole beneath the property. Vegetation on the embankment beneath the River Rd property was wiped out in a slip back in February. Maxine said there had been no report from EQC on the February slip and residents wanted answers. Fire crews were shocked at the extent of the slip and advised residents to evacuate for their own safety.
