Chukwudi AkasikeA group of women from Owube community in Ahiada West Local Government Area of Rivers State on Tuesday protested the activities of cultists in the area. Some of the placards displayed by the woman read, ‘Cult boys have sacked Owube community’, ‘Police commissioner, please, rescue Owube community from cult boys’, ‘Cult boys attack and kill us at will’, ‘Cult boys force Owube people to desert their homes’, and ‘Our women are raped at will by cult boys. Please, rescue Owube women’, among others. She said, “Cult boys in our community do not allow us to go to our farms again. “It is cult boys within our community joining hands with their friends from outside that are behind this.
