During the course of the meeting, crime statistics for the Year 2018 were deliberated upon. Simultaneously, the Islamabad police chief emphasised upon the officers to continue crackdown against land grabbing mafia and drug peddlers. In addition to that the IGP Islamabad ordered to immediately start the raids to arrest absconding culprits and also ordered to work out the untraced cases on priority basis. Besides that the IGP ordered to arrest proclaimed offenders that court has declared as wanted, court absconders who had jumped bail and military deserters as well. The IGP Islamabad also asked the homicide unit to improve their performance and arrest the absconding criminals in heinous crime and fatal traffic accidents.
