MANILA, Philippines — The rise of COVID-19 cases in Mindanao has slowed down, the OCTA Research said Friday, as Quezon City again surpassed Davao City on the number of new COVID-19 cases in the previous seven days. OCTA Research said in its latest monitoring report that Davao City “had a slight decrease in cases, and has dropped to second overall in the entire Philippines.”ADVERTISEMENTThe average number of new COVID-19 cases in Quezon City from June 4 to 10 was 185 cases, while the average number of new cases in Davao City from the same period was 184 cases.
