Prices of thoor dal, urad dal, moong dal, gram dal and maida (90 kg) moved up while prices of rest of the commodities ruled steady during the week that ended here today. Urad dal opened the week at its closing rate of Rs.7,500 its price moving on Wednesday by Rs.500 to close the week at Rs.8,000. Opening the week at Rs.6,800 moong dal its price increased on Wednesday by Rs.400 to finish this week at Rs.7,200. Gram dal was up by Rs.500 per quintal to Rs.7,500 from its closing rate Rs.7,000 to close the week at Rs.7,500. Sugar (Rs.4,080), wheat (Rs.2,600) and sooji(90 kg)(Rs.3,200) ruled steady throughout the week.
