Rio Olympics 2016: Lydia Ko wins silver for New Zealand's 17th medal

Lydia Ko has added another milestone to her already impressive golf career - an Olympic medal. The 19-year-old and world number one has finished second at the Olympic golf event in Rio to take home New Zealand's ninth silver and 17th medal at the Games. South Korea's Inbee Park won the first women's golf gold since Margaret Abbott in 1900 with a superb final round. Park shot a final round five-under 66 to finish the tournament at 16-under, five shots clear of Ko at 11-under. It wasn't the best of rounds for Ko with a number of birdie putts failing top drop as she recorded a final round two-under 69.
