Manchester United must look after Mason Greenwood and not thrust him into regular first-team action too early, claims former Red Devils defender Rio Ferdinand. Ferdinand says United must learn from the likes of Michael Owen who saw the latter stages of his career blighted by injuries. Owen burst onto the scene as a teenager in the 1990s and quickly became a regular in the Liverpool first team and then the senior England side.
