The French midfielder had his right arm in an ‘unnatural’ high position but the ball hit Sissoko’s chest before rolling onto his outstretched arm. Nevertheless, Ferdinand believes Sissoko’s body position gave the referee little choice and the former England captain says Sissoko has no one to blame but himself.
