From the athletics stadium and the cycling velodrome to the handball court, the French Olympic team has excelled at the art of griping about opponents and grumbling about results. “It’s the same thing every four years,” French track cyclist Michaël D’Almeida told Le Monde. But Virgine Cueff summed up the attitude of the crestfallen French cycling team. “But personally, the man that I am has a hard time being satisfied with this use of the rules.”Complaining isn’t an Olympic sport, much to the chagrin of the French team.
