Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on Wednesday warned National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung'wa against betraying them at the bipartisan talks table. The DP said the Kenya Kwanza camp has faith in Ichung'wa as the leader of the government's delegation but challenged him to live up to the expectations. And Kimani actually got his wife from here (Nyeri); if you dare go and get cornered, we will take away your wife and children, and you will be left alone," Gachagua said. President Ruto picked Ichung'wa to lead the Kenya Kwanza team in talks with the opposition. On Wednesday morning, Mbarire stepped in for Ichung'wah as the Kikuyu MP could not arrive in Nairobi in time for the meeting.
