This could be gauged from a tweet by Assam health minister and North-East Democratic Alliance convener Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday evening. Sarma stated: “A NPP delegation led by @SangmaConrad and Dy Chief Minister of Manipur Sri Y Joy Kumar Singh met Hon’ble Home minister Sri @AmitShah ji today in New Delhi. Both @BJP4India and NPP will continue to work together for the development of Manipur.”In another tweet, Sarma said the NPP would continue to support the BJP government in Manipur. But on Tuesday, Conrad, Sarma and the four NPP legislators flew to Delhi to hold talks with the BJP leadership. The withdrawal of support by the four NPP legislators followed after three legislators from the BJP resigned.
