A group of MPs from the Rift Valley has praised President William Ruto for maintaining a hands-off stance in the ongoing impeachment process against his Deputy Rigathi Gachagua. "As MPs, we want to thank the president for not interfering with it in any way," he said. Speaking in Nandi, Melly said Ruto's non-interference sends a strong message about accountability and respect for the constitutional process. He also stressed the importance of a united country devoid of regional politics. A record 282 MPs both from the ruling coalition and the opposition voted to impeach Gachagua last Tuesday.
