Residents near a Richmond Hill industrial unit are being asked to stay indoors after a two-alarm fire at an automotive repair company. Nine trucks and 35 firefighters are on the scene, Richmond Hill Fire told CBC News. Red Maple Road is closed between 16th Avenue and Bantry Avenue for the police investigation. One man, believed to be working inside, was transported to a Toronto hospital burn unit with severe injuries, police say. York Regional Police told CBC News they received calls at about 12:45 p.m. Monday about a fire or explosion at the unit, located at 375 Red Maple Road in the 16th Avenue and Yonge Street area.
