The actor Richard Dreyfuss has denied exposing himself to a female writer helping him with a TV script in the 1980s. Dreyfuss, now 70, said Teich was a friend of more than 30 years. In 1987, Teich said, she was summoned to his trailer on the set of one of Dreyfuss’s films and he exposed his genitals to her. On Saturday Dreyfuss’s agent, Barry McPherson, said his client denied ever exposing himself to Teich. Regarding other encounters with Teich, Dreyfuss said he was now “horrified and bewildered to discover that it wasn’t consensual”.
