Rich-lister's son Nikolas Delegat admits attacking female police officer

Delegat pleaded guilty to the amended charge and admitted assaulting a campus watch officer and damaging a window. Delegat had pleaded guilty last August to resisting arrest but denied assaulting the officer and damaging a window. Officer Alana Kane needed hospital treatment for a black eye and serious swelling to her face after Delegat attacked her. The 19-year-old son of a New Zealand rich-lister has admitted hitting a female police officer - more than a year after the attack occurred. Nikolas James Posa Delegat, the heir of the Delegat winemaking family, had denied assaulting the police officer during an altercation outside popular student bar in Dunedin, on March 26, 2015.
