Concepcion, the founder of Go Negosyo, said businesses should remain open to prop up the economy. Concepcion renewed his call for “pooled testing” to detect coronavirus infections. He said his group was considering starting “within a month” the study to validate the accuracy of pooled testing using reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). Under the pooled testing method, swab samples of multiple individuals will go through a single PCR test. Makati Mayor Mar-Len Abigail Binay expressed confidence that pooled testing would be beneficial to the country’s fight against the coronavirus disease 2019.
