Jean Mensa told Kojo Yankson in an exclusive interview that many of the staff at the Commission thought the original logo better depicted the Commission’s core values of Integrity, Fairness and Accountability. Despite the heavy criticism by some civil society organisations and opposition political parties at the time, the former EC boss stood by the decision to change the logo saying: “That is our new logo. Ghanaians happyJean Mensah said the decision to revert to the original eagles and coat of arms logo has also been accepted by Ghanaians. But I think the change resulted from the demands of the staff [of the Commission],” she said.
