The group in an earlier release alleged that some faceless individuals were working against Dr Awuah’s appointment. The government today, November 20 2019, withdrew the appointment of Dr Baffour Awuah as the Director-General of the Ghana Health Service (GHS). Dr Baffour Awuah was appointed in a letter signed by the Executive Secretary to the President, Nana Bedietuo Asante on November 5, 2019. Before the appointment, Dr Awuah was the Medical Director of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
