Drilling equipment maker Mincon has reported growth in revenue and profit before tax for the first half of this year, despite challenges from Covid-19. Revenue increase 4pc year-on-year to €67m in the six months to June 30, according to interim results from the company. Raw material prices used by the company have increased, and where “appropriate,” Mincon has passed on the price increases to customers. Mincon said transport costs and lead times also increased during the period. “Mincon has responded to increased transport and raw material costs by pushing through price increases on many products,” Colin Sheridan, analyst at Davy, said.
