Garda whistleblower Keith Harrison agreed at mediation talks to report for duty again ROLLINGNEWS.IEA garda whistleblower whose alleged victimisation by senior officers is being investigated by the Disclosures Tribunal plans to return to work tomorrow after three years’ stress-related sick leave. Last week Keith Harrison agreed at mediation talks facilitated by Kieran Mulvey, the former chief executive of the Workplace Relations Commission, to report for duty tomorrow at Milford garda station in Co Donegal. No agreement has been reached on reimbursing Harrison’s lost earnings since he went on sick leave on May 19, 2014. Garda management offered him six months’ pay at last week’s talks in Dublin, but he declined. The mediation process, which Frances Fitzgerald, the justice minister, asked Mulvey to facilitate, concluded on Thursday.
