Kisumu MCAs who pocketed Sh260,000 but did not attend a bonding retreat in Tanzania should return the money in seven days or be sued, an association has said. This is pure theft and abuse of office and rule of law, Kisumu City Residents Voice Association chairman Audi Ogada said. He said more than 10 out of 49 legislators took money, but did not attend the three-day conference in Arusha. “Some of them were spotted in Kisumu and Nairobi for personal activities. We are aware some went to the border to have their passport stamped and came back,” Ogada said.
