Md Asad Uddin, a Supreme Court lawyer and one of the writ petitioners confirmed the matter to the Dhaka Tribune. Following a case filed at Narayanganj Sadar Model police station for the abduction of a teenage girl, police arrested three suspects and sent them to jail. The 15-year old is currently with her family, according to Narayanganj Sadar police. The prime suspect in the abduction case, Abdullah, with whom she was last seen on July 4, had, however, no knowledge of her intentions on the day, proving him innocent along with the two other suspects. Abdullah used to contact the girl through Rakib's phone," he said.
