Would Mr. Ford’s advisers please remind him that we have just experienced a huge number of painful hearings on residential schools and restitution sessions. Victoria is not “dumping” the Macdonald statue. More importantly, they got re-elected after the actions they took regarding the residential schools. It is not these elected officials who should be blamed for these national sins, but the citizenry of Canada. Take other actions to hold the Canadian body politic accountable for these past sins.
