The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Pakistan Justice Gulzar Ahmed, during a visit to Quetta on Wednesday, urged young lawyers to restore the confidence of the general public in the judicial system. He stated the role of lawyer’s community is pivotal for speedy justice and lawyers should make it possible to ensure their presence in the courts for prompt disposal of under-trial cases. The chief justice added that emergent steps had been adopted to fill the vacant posts of judges. Chief Justice Ahmed emphasised that a successful judicial system is possible only through full dedication of judicial officers. The CJP emphasised that the legal fraternity has played a vital role in ensuring the supremacy of law and justice.
