Restaurant shut down for assault on touristsVietNamNet Bridge – A restaurant in the tourist city of Da Lat, which assaulted two of its customers, has been suspended from operation, the city’s Market Management Board said on Thursday. The assaulted Vietnamese American tourist fainted at the Da Lat night market, Lam Dong Province. On Tuesday night, a group of tourists, including two young women---a 20-year-old from Dong Nai Province and a 28-year-old Vietnamese American--- was hanging out at the Da Lat night market. The rice was served cold, and the American tourist got into a verbal fight with the restaurant owner over the undercooked chicken. The Vietnamese woman suffered scratches and open wounds on her face, while the American woman fainted on the spot.
