‘Death threat’Amit Gupta, the son of restaurant owner Vijay Gupta, said, “My father was at the cash counter at our restaurant Bal Gopal in Pandav Nagar when two men ordered several food items as takeaway. After they were handed over the takeaway, they asked my father for 50% discount on the bill. They started abusing Mr. Vijay Gupta, besides threatening to kill him within half an hour. Four men on bikes arrived at the restaurant and started hitting the staff and my father with rods. A man came to the restaurant and got into an argument with the staff over the bill.
