Vu owns a restaurant at 98 Tran Phu Street in the ward, where Nghia works as a chef. They parked along the roadside beside an empty lot opposite Vu’s restaurant, but he objected to their vehicle being left there, triggering a heated argument that escalated into a physical fight. After receiving reports from residents, ward police officers quickly arrived at the scene to restore order. Investigators later summoned Vu, Nghia and D.T.B.N., 26, Vu’s son, for questioning before deciding to prosecute and detain Vu and Nghia. The police urged the public to promptly report any acts of disorder or violence to the nearest police station for appropriate handling.
