Ever heard of the saying “I’d be rich if I got a rand every time I got asked a stupid question?”, well this restaurant in America is taking it literally by charging patrons for asking waiters stupid questions. According to Metro UK, Tom’s Diner which is in the city of Colorado is charging customers $0.38 (+- R5.48) for asking questions, they deem to be stupid, in an attempt to make customers think before asking something silly, patronising or stupid while at the restaurant. We have lots of silly things on our menu like that,” she said. And even though it’s all just for laughs, those who ask a lot of silly questions will find themselves billed for stupid questions once the bill comes. “If I got paid to listen to people's stupid questions I'd probably be a billionaire,” another wrote.
