Resignations from West Auckland school board, ministry to step inAmy Baker A statutory manager will be appointed at the school. Support from Education Ministry officials and the School Trustees Association will be provided to a West Auckland school after four of its board members resigned last week. However, the former board members said they intended to request a review from Minister of Education Chris Hipkins as to "what has gone on". Casey said the ministry had not been informed of the reasons for the board members' resignations. The school's board of trustees requested ministry and New Zealand School Trustees Association (NZSTA) support in a meeting on April 26.
