Work began to install an internet service by City Fibre on Lower Meadow, Quedgeley, Gloucestershire on Wednesday. Paul Simpson, a permanent night shift worker who lives on the road, works night shifts as a long-distance lorry driver, transporting NHS items such as PPE. “There were no flyers through the door a week before to say there’s going to be pending work. “My doctor told me to stay away from stress and I’m just dreading for them to come back tomorrow morning. We never had any notice at all so I’m angry about that more than anything.”Residents are unsure when the work will be completed.
