Fogging for mosquitoes in residential areas is set to begin in Winnipeg on Thursday evening. On Wednesday, the city-wide average trap count was 59. The southeast quadrant of the city had the highest average count on Wednesday at 106 — with one trap reaching 170 and another at 168. The city doesn't fog when temperatures are below 13 C or wind speeds are not conducive to fogging, the release said.
