Complaining about the unfair, changing “rules” is useless. When London was repeatedly bombed during World War 2, it might have struck many in England as completely unfair of the Nazis. Sticking a middle finger toward the sky might have provided exactly the same triumphantly rebellious feeling as does wearing a mask below the nose today for those who resent the unfairness of it all. The latter is looking less likely all the time, but perhaps Omicron might actually be the start of such a downturn in severity (my speculation). In the meantime, do the right thing, please.
