Photo: SuppliedScience communication student Lana Young (23) was made a Sir Peter Blake ambassador this year and spent 29 days on research vessel Tangaroa studying salp, a tiny planktonic sea creature. "It was just a really, really cool opportunity to be able to be participating in the science." A total of eight Otago students were made Sir Peter Blake ambassadors this year.
