A tramper has gone missing in the Jellicoe area of Arthur's Pass. A helicopter and four rescue teams are scouring the Jellicoe area of Arthur's Pass after a tramper did not return from the bush. A further three Land Search and Rescue (SAR) teams, an Alpine Search and Rescue team joined the search and were on the ground at 11am on Sunday. The spokesman said the search teams were carrying food, cold weather gear and first aid equipment. A police spokeswoman said police, fire and St John crews had also been called to the search area.
