Taupo's Greenlea Rescue Helicopter has been involved in two incidents today, including a hunter who got disoriented and lost in bush east of the town. The second incident involved taking a young girl who had fallen from a horse north of Taupo to Rotorua hospital. She had suspected spinal injuriesThis evening just before dark, the rescue service was alerted an active beacon east of Taupo. A lost hunter was located and reunited with his companions at a relatively nearby camp. The group is leaving the area tomorrow.
