LAHORE: Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) Director General (DG) Dr Rizwan Naseer inaugurated a four-day long course for establishing Community Emergency Response teams in all union councils of Punjab. The course was held at the Managers Training Centre (MTC), Rescue 1122 Headquarters here on Tuesday. Addressing the opening ceremony, the DG said that the basic purpose of running such courses was to enhance capacity of managers to maintain service standards in all districts of Punjab. He further asked the Rescue and Safety Officers (RSOs) to ensure establishment of CERT in every union council to impart training to all CERTs, ensure CADRE training standards and follow directions for execution of CERT plan for 2018. The DG appreciated masters trainers on organising successful course for managers of the service.
