House Republicans launched a short-lived attempt Wednesday to delay Michael Cohen’s public hearing before the House Oversight Committee, over the late release of testimony and evidence. Cohen's testimony was turned over the night before the hearing, while documents were made available the morning of the hearing. "Committee rules require witnesses to provide their testimony to Congress 24 hours in advance of a hearing. "Lo and behold, we didn't get Mr. Cohen's statement till 11:00 p.m. last night and didn't receive any of the 'evidence' until this morning."
