Schumer (N.Y.) and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (Calif.), had a private dinner with Trump last fall. So I’ve encouraged President Trump to just call people, to do more of this. Pelosi even dressed down Obama aides at a private meeting after his press secretary publicly suggested that House Democrats would lose the majority in the 2010 midterms.
