Lasun urged journalists to deploy their wealth of experience in the governance of the country.He expressed appreciation about the award, adding that journalists covering the House’ activities were in a prime position to know the contributions of every lawmaker. He also commended the ingenuity of the press corps, especially the time that the planning committee spent in assessing each lawmaker, and their constituency projects. I am most happy that this award is coming from the House Press Corps that directly reports our activities. With this award, I am inspired to do more, and I believe that other lawmakers will also sit up.”He promised to take the journalists on a tour of his constituency projects. He urged the deputy speaker not to rest on his oars, but to continue working for the benefit of his people.
