ToplineRetail colossus Walmart has pulled guns, firearms and ammunition from display at all its stores across the United States, according to a Wall Street Journal report, to prevent weapons from being stolen should “civil unrest” grip the nation. Both guns and ammunition will still be for sale upon request, the WSJ said. The company has yet to decide how long the weapons will stay off the floor, a Walmart spokesperson told the Journal. In 2018, the company raised the buying age for guns and ammunition to 21.
