Florida Atlantic coach Lane Kiffin is interested in the Florida State vacancy, CBS Sports reported Monday. The Seminoles fired Willie Taggart on Sunday after a 27-10 loss to Miami dropped them to 4-5 on the season and 9-12 during his tenure in Tallahassee. Florida State owes Taggart a $17 million buyout. He previously served as head coach of the Oakland Raiders from 2007-08. Kiffin’s overall record as a collegiate head coach is 57-34 with two bowl appearances.
