The Los Angeles Galaxy are adding to their midfield ranks, reaching a deal with veteran free agent Sacha Kljestan in a move that is expected to be made official Monday, the Los Angeles Times reported. Kljestan, 34, is a Southern California native who previously played in Los Angeles with now-defunct MLS side Chivas USA from 2006-10. He also played for the New York Red Bulls (2015-17) and with Orlando City the past two seasons. Known as an attacking midfielder, Kljestan has 38 career goals and 93 assists in 264 MLS games, scoring one goal with three assists in 23 games (13 starts) with Orlando City last season. He also has 52 games of experience with the U.S. Men’s National Team, scoring six goals.
